Copper Lantern Therapy PLLC aims to provide an affirming and supportive environment that actively combats shame and fosters acceptance. We are dedicated to enhancing mental health and promoting positive intimacy experiences. Through our specialized therapeutic approach, we aim to empower individuals to embrace their sexuality, nurture their well-being, and live authentically

I believe in the healing power of humor. Our approach to therapy is not just about addressing pain and challenges, but also about making room for joy, laughter, and direct discussions. I understand that therapy can be a difficult journey, and we strive to lighten the load with a touch of humor. I want to hold space for the painful things with unconditional care, while also ensuring that joy and laughter have their rightful place in the process. Among the things that hurt, let’s talk about your passions, the tools you’ve collected for yourself, and how you’ve made it this far.

I want to encourage self-exploration with questions like “Is this a problem for you, or has someone told you that it’s a problem for you?” This helps us to ensure that the therapy you receive is truly tailored to you, addressing your genuine concerns and promoting your personal growth.

What to Expect

 Humor in Therapy

During therapy, we are going to manage hard and heavy topics. We can also make space for lightheartedness and joy, and that is important to me. There is room for all emotions on your journey.

Client-Oriented Approach

Our work together is tailored to the unique needs of each client. I will collaborate with you to develop a therapy plan that addresses your specific concerns and goals. I want you to be in control of your own journey.

Queer, Kink and Polyamory-Informed Care

Copper Lantern Therapy is a queer-owned practice, LGBTQIA+, Polyamorous and Kink-informed care is my specialty. While I won’t claim to know your personal experience, you don’t have to spend your session time teaching me the basics of your sexual identity.

Systemic Perspective

I view my work through a systemic lens, acknowledging that our self-perceptions are shaped by our families, experiences, and societal contexts. This means that together, we address not just individual symptoms, but also the broader systems and structures that impact your mental health.
